Monolithic Domes are super-insulated, airtight structures that save money on heating and cooling. A byproduct of this excellent insulation and closed system can be a rise in CO2 and humidity.
inflatable-domes-built. After insulation cures, rebar grids are fixed into the foam, and concrete is applied to create a permanent shell. This process forms a thin-shell concrete dome that resists heavy loads and temperature changes.

Insulated domes are increasingly used as eco-friendly homes, tiny houses, or off-grid cabins. Their aerodynamic shape reduces wind resistance and improves energy efficiency, while the continuous insulation envelope minimizes thermal bridging and heat loss.

The laayered monolithic dome, when finished, is fireproof. What different about this Dome house? It plays a double function as a structure and insulator. Millions of tiny closed air cells give AirCrete its insulating properties. And you can form it to any thickness to suit your climate.

Are Geodesic Domes Insulated? The form is one of the strongest in the world, as the spherical structure is engineered to withstand the largest volume of snow ever recorded 40 feet. The standard insulation cavity in the dome is 10 feet which enables very high R-values.
